The Audi e-tron is not cheap. Normally, the fully electric SUV starts at $75,795 before and deals or tax credits. But if you buy one soon through the Costco Auto Program, you can get some significant discounts to drive down that price. As reported by CarsDirect, the discounts start with a $2,000 cash bonus available on all versions of the 2019 e-tron. This discount applies to both buyers and lessees. Plus, if you fill out an optional survey after the purchase, you get a $500 Costco Cash Card.
Audi is also giving dealers a $3,000 “marketing allowance,” which can be combined with 0.99% APR financing for up to 66 months. However, CarsDirect says Audi isn’t advertising this offer, so buyers may have to shop around to get the right deal. If you want the extra money in your pocket, you may not want to wait, because most offers from Audi end March 2. The Costco bonus, however, runs through March 31.
On top of these deals, the E-Tron is eligible for the full $7,500 federal tax credit, as well as potential state and local incentives. Keep in mind that similar credits on GM and Tesla vehicles will or have expired because they have each already sold 200,000 plug-in vehicles. The Jaguar I-Pace is another fun-to-drive electric SUV, and the automaker is offering a $5,000 cash incentive this month. The model is still eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit.
E-tron buyers also have the opportunity to save on their home electricity bills. A few days ago, we reported that new Audi E-Tron customers will receive a free 10-year subscription to solar power—no panel installation necessary.
